In honor of October being #breastcancerawarenessmonth, #Oracle Women's Leadership (OWL) supported the Sister Crush Breast Cancer 5K Walk/Run benefiting Breast Cancer Emergency Fund (BCEF) and Pink Heals Napa Valley. Participants walked, jogged and ran at their leisure. The team of #oraclewomen who participated in this event this year, focused their efforts by supporting the cause to fight breast cancer and raise awareness. Thanks to the generosity of participants and friends, Oracle team members raised over $500!
The event took place on October 17th, on a beautiful autumn day in Yountville. There were even hot air balloons! The crowds of #breastcancer supporters were enthusiastic and dressed in pink. There were many people who brought their dogs for this event, who wore #pink as well. Also, there was a silent auction to help raise funds and awareness at the event!
One of the beneficiaries for this event is Breast Cancer Emergency Fund (BCEF), who provides emergency financial assistance to low-income #women who are battling breast cancer. The Sisters Crush Breast Cancer Walk is an empowering event because the impact we can make together is much greater than what we could do alone!
