I spent the last 10 days in Kenya with this amazing group of people. With them, my eyes were opened to the reality of how some people in our world live; without proper healthcare, without enough food to eat, or clean water to drink, without a bed to sleep in at night, and only a few pieces of clothing to wear. My perspective on life has changed. Sitting at home in my plush bed with my cable TV, wifi, and fridge full of food, I feel guilty and out of place. I hope this uncomfortable feeling sticks with me for a while so I can figure out how I'd like to help make a bigger impact on the issue of global poverty. Thank you @worldvisionus for this life-changing experience.
