I think I have always been enamored with the idea that something was very old and had a life before it found its way to me. I can remember being obsessed with finding old jewelry. I enjoyed the thrill of learning about the piece, how old was it, where is it from, what did it do. I felt that old items held some type of magic, or at lease mystery for sure.
