Making vintage modern: As long as you own it, people will believe you. Confidence and happiness are two things that make the outfit come together. You don’t have to jump into a full out retro costume right away. Find vintage or fun pieces and start building them into your wardrobe. Maybe a crazy handbag with your jeans and t-shirt, or some bright makeup with your new dress. For this look I wore a vintage plaid skirt and vintage shoes with a new top and hat. The suspenders were thrifted but are relatively new.
