I love that she said this!!! When writing Strong and Kind my biggest fear was that people would look at it and think, she must think she has it all together. I clearly don't, but I wanted to write it to invite parents along on my journey to parent kids of character. To challenge myself along with all of you to look at our lives and strive to live the values that we want to see in our kids and to straight up encourage all of you moms and dads that you've got within you what it takes to raise these little munchkins God gave you! I love being a mom and I adore my kids, but I know that it can be tough. Sometimes we question ourselves and worry are we doing it all right. Be assured you probably aren't doing it ALL right, but I bet you're doing better than you give yourself credit for. Be confident in your role as parent, love your kids, be real with them, have fun, and pray.
