"Yes its Over now. (Finished Cemetary) Olf, Germany." That's how Private First Class Paul Bland labeled this photograph, one of many of his in our collection. Paul Bland served in Europe for a year and a half, returning to the US to be honorably discharged in September 1945. During his time overseas, he was stationed in France, Czechoslovakia, and Germany. His photos provide insight into the experiences of African American soldiers during #WorldWarII. #PaulsWW2Photos
