Photo by @andywcoleman // After a morning of unsuccessful searching for tigers in #Ranthambhore National Park in India, we stopped by a watering hole to see if we could hear the distress calls of deer or monkeys. This common kingfisher, which looked rather uncommon to us, used a rock and a nearby branch as a resting place between dives into the water for fish. It was a nice distraction during our rest stop before we resumed our search for the elusive big cat.
