Phone Photo by @michaelchristopherbrown. Fishermen from the Wagenia tribe climb bamboo scaffolding and prepare their nets at Stanley Falls, located on the Congo River near the city of Kisangani, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Fish swim downriver and once in the wooden nets they become trapped, unable to free themselves against the current. Twice a day these Wagenia men use vines to hoist the nets up and climb down to check for fish. For more follow @michaelchristopherbrown
