This intricate snow drawing is carved on a lake in the French Alps. Snow artist Simon Beck forms simple shapes in the snow to create gorgeous and massive designs. The work requires an enormous amount of concentration and patience, and Beck acknowledges that mistakes are inevitable. “You don’t really correct them, you change the design slightly so it doesn’t look like it was a mistake,” he explains.
