Happy Birthday to Nicklas Bendtner! The Danish international who plays for German Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg turns 28 today. Bendtner made his senior international debut on 16 August 2006, in a friendly match against Poland, and scored his first international goal in that match. During the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa the tall forward scored the equaliser in Denmark's 2-1 win over Cameroon. Bendtner has a cult following who refer to him as "Lord Bendtner".
