@ianwelsted in spin drift hell here while trying to get an afternoon session of climbing in deep in the #icefallbrooke outside golden British Columbia, Canada in February 2009. We got hit with 100cm (nearly 40 inches) of snow on our first night here after being heli-ed in. The storm continued mercilessly for the better part of 4 days, burying us more and more. We had flown in all the luxuries that you would never ski into the back country; Items like meats, eggs, pasta, bagels, cereal and 2 big propane heaters and burners to cook on. After the first night we woke up to -30 conditions and all of the propane had leaked out of the tanks, leaving us with a lot of frozen food and a ration of bars and bagels to thaw out at night in our sleeping bags as we slept. Further, @calstrin left the tent packing up to me and I accidentally grabbed a 3 season tent in which he and I weathered out a week of less then desirable conditions in. It's all laughs looking back and we're no worse for wear. Plus @jon.walsh and @ianwelsted got a sweet first ascent up about 1,000 feet of unclimbed rock and ice and chris and I photographed and filmed the whole thing. Good times, I'd go back. @アークテリクス
