One way in, one way out. The roads would wind and climb their way through the lush green terrain; what these streets lacked in safety they made up for in astonishing views. It was typical for villages scattered throughout the Faroe Islands to have a single means of entry which just added to the mystique surrounding such an otherworldly place. Nestled between Iceland and Norway, it is one of the most remote and unique places I’ve ever travelled to.
