Photo by @andywcoleman // After 8 days in the Galapagos, I headed to Mashpi Lodge, one of the National Geographic Unique Lodges of the World, for some hiking and wildlife viewing in the Andean cloud forest. The lodge, tucked away in the middle of a protected forest, has a myriad of trails to let you fully experience this unique natural wonderland. We reached this waterfall after an hour long hike with our naturalist guide, stopping along the way to learn about the flora and fauna of the forest. We enjoyed the cool mist of the water hitting the ground from high above and then made the journey back up to the lodge for a refreshing drink. #NatGeoLodges #mashpilodge
