Chapter 3 of #etniesEST is now showing on theberrics.com. @Etnies High-5 was the first skate shoe video, once again setting a precedent with top tier skating from @EricKoston, @JamieThomas, @RonnieCreager and @theMuska. It’s no secret these skateboarders went on to be icons in the industry, but what isn’t as known is @Etniesskateboarding almost lost the rights to their name in 1996. One of the driving forces behind Etnies’ success was their ability to adapt to a changing industry landscape, utilizing the momentum of their team riders. Etnies openness to include rider input was essential as they grew into the Sole Tech powerhouse they are today.
