@_goinghome still here and saturating your feed with my takeover. My last post highlighted some workshops, but perhaps a week long course isn't your cup of tea. That's totally cool because I'm a coffee person and not a tea drinker. And that's okay. You might be saying "A week long class? Nah, how about a bunch of classes offered in one week?" Well now we're sharing a cup of coffee and not just pretending to like tea. So let's talk. Let's discuss retreats - a week away from society with a group of peers that are willing to breakdown those walls and be vulnerable with you. Knowing that once you leave and head home, you'll be changed for the better. To begin, @theuniquecamp has made me a stronger and more compassionate human. This young creative business retreat is designed to trigger both sides of your brain by not only offering classes, but experiences. Your schedule can be comprised of classes on public relations, strategies or finances... But paired with experiences like macramé, wood carving, even archery. Be prepared to give up your phone for the duration of the retreat and rekindle the love of communication and story telling. I'll be teaching a photography class at CAMP for the second time, this upcoming May - the most rewarding experience of my young life. Next, the photo above couldn't have happened without my @yeahfieldtrip family. I vowed to leave Field Trip with a collection of images I'm proud of and thanks to @logancolephoto and his editorial class, I created this. Photo Field Trip immerses you into a world of photo nerds, looking to grow together as a unit. It's home to the most diverse collection of photo/video based classes and you can even meet your photo icons, who, as it turns out, also enjoy coffee and taking pictures of their cats. It's a collection of the most eager and profound photographers of my generation, and when you attend this retreat, you're really finding a new place to call home and a new group of people to call family.
