Landscape of the unexpected, incessant beauty, #Armenia, where mystery and the sublime merge into an imaginarium. Naturally. Organically. Everywhere ~ Fuel pipes in a village in northern Armenia, a legacy of the Soviet era.

Last year while working on a project for @ナショナルジオグラフィック with colleague, translator and photographer, Anush Babajanyan @anushbabajanyan, the landscape legacy of a bygone era not only enthralled, it ratcheted imagination. I became engrossed by the largest organic outdoor art project I’d ever witness — serpentine twirling, twisting mental, pipes that move heating fuel to homes all across Armenia.
