That day, came home from nightclubbing, woke up late as usual and said "Let's paint big " - we gathered paints and brushes, took off to our hangout joint #PeppermintCafe #kichijoji. 15 hours later we filled up the wall, Simon's piece turned into #SoulIISoul album cover - one of many magical stories of pre#TOMATO pre#TheBarnstormers - Tokyo 1989, at the time of club culture renaissance
あの日も、クラブから帰ってきていつもみたいに遅く起きて、いきなり「大っきい絵、一緒に描きたいね」ってなって、絵の具と筆集めて #ペパカフェ 行って、マスターに提案。15時間後、わたしたちの溜まり場 #吉祥寺 #ペパーミントカフェ の壁は生まれ変わって、その後サイモンの絵は #SoulIISoul のアルバムカヴァーになった。1989年、東京クラブカルチャーあけぼの時代。毎日死ぬまで遊んでたあの頃の一コマ。
