happy st. patrick's day - a #tbt to my most recent visit in ireland - a dense grey but dry summers day in july - on the other side of these barns the great old fields of my husbands family farm were alive with activity - the hay had been cut and many hands had come to help in a race against the rains - moments after the last bits of straw were tucked safely into the barn the sky opened up and pored down the most incredible deluge of sweet summer rain - we sat in the old farmhouse kitchen - fire burning in the stove and kettles boiling - many cups of tea were had that afternoon as we admired the work accomplished
