Photo by @KristaRossow // Every year at springtime, it seems like light pink clouds descend from the sky in the form of cherry trees and snuggle the edge of the Tidal Basin in Washington, DC. This shot from a few years back shows the Jefferson Memorial framed by blossoms illuminated by the setting sun. It is now almost cherry blossom peak bloom on the National Mall in DC and, if you find yourself there, I recommend to make the effort to arrive before sunrise or stay through sunset for the best light on the blossoms.
