Sometimes it surprises people to hear that I workout to put on weight rather than lose it. I've always been a tall scrawny girl with long limbs and little muscle, but when I work out I gain strength, agility and stamina and feel like my body is more in proportion and womanly and I need to keep on track as a single mother of two. My legs are always the quickest part of my body to respond to training as my quads build up size quickly and cut a nice shape but my arms are by far my weakest point and I was on osteo tablets as a child to help my bones. I love how despite illness, age or injuries fitness can bring you back to your best again, make you feel on top of the world and give you a passion and drive for life. I have my personal training exam in just 5 days time and I'm so nervous but excited!
