View the only known sketch of iconic painting 'An Experiment on a Bird in an Air Pump' 1768 by Joseph Wright of Derby at Tate Britain. The sketch, on the reverse of an iconic self-portrait by Wright, is displayed alongside the original painting for the first time and gives a unique insight into the creative process that created the masterpiece.
