Looking forward to "Miles Away," the upcoming film about jazz musician Miles Davis? This portrait of Davis (far right of image) is part of a larger painting called "Big Band" by Leroy Neiman.
Davis, an inventive jazz trumpet player and bandleader, can't be tied to just one form of jazz as he actually helped pioneer cool jazz, hard-pop, and jazz-rock fusion.
