I love spring but with it there are a few things most of us hate, bugs, specifically the ones that bite. While visiting eastern Montana last year on assignment for @National Geographic Travel I was driving through the countryside when I spotted this group of horses running back and fourth across the backlit dusty prairie, kicking, making noise and splashing in a nearby pond relentlessly. It took a some time to figure out why, then I saw it, clouds of tiny black bugs tormenting them. It looked miserable to say the least, but made for some great shots. @donniesexton1 @visitmontana #montanamoment
