I recently put on a sweater, packed my colored pencils and headed to Oregon for a long weekend. Portland had been calling my name for some time and I was eager to roam the streets for inspiration. This city is known for it’s great culture, delicious food, excellent coffee & an awesome music scene. As I was wandering the streets to decide what to draw, I was thrilled when I turned the corner to find this theater! I was charmed by the building’s detailed architecture and it's bold marquee. To me this building feels like a smile in the middle of downtown Portland. I personally have never seen a show inside this theater, but I hope this post will spark memories for the Portlanders & people who have!
