Photo by @Spono. A quintessential one of many -#FireplacesOfIreland. While running around the #WildAtlanticWay I pulled into this little pub/brewery along the #SleaHeadRoad on the #DinglePeninsula. Without a soul inside I met Paul who served up samples of the local craft brew made on site. We talked about the rise and fall of the rural pub and what its importance has meant and continues to mean to the people of #Ireland. He said it's not just a bar, it's where people meet, it's the common ground when you're so remote. A beautiful little spot to stop in, admire all the little details, and think of all the stories told around this fireplace. More stories to come in partnership with @thewildatlanticway.
