Photo by @KristaRossow // I’m navigating north from Seattle through British Columbia and Alaska on board the National Geographic Sea Lion. The ship pulled in closely to a waterfall near the former cannery town of Butedale in Canada with the hopes of seeing a cream-colored “spirit” bear, one of the color forms of the black bear. Alas, we had no luck with bears, but the lovely morning light brought everyone out to the bow to see the gorgeous landscape and waterfall. #OnAssignment #NGExpeditions
