Photographed taken by @christianziegler. Agoutis are very efficient seed dispensers. Here it consumes the palm fruits on Barro Colorado Island. They typically burrow the seeds one by one in their territory and go back to eat it. Only if the Agouti dies, or if it gets eaten, the seed is successfully dispersed. @thephotosociety
