(6/6) Brian’s greatest source of pride with the Mirai is knowing that every day he is contributing to making the environment better for the future. “Anything that reduces the carbon output and carbon input for motor vehicles and gets [us] away from the reliance on fossil fuels is huge,” he says. Both electric- and hydrogen-powered cars are clean emissions vehicles, but hydrogen is a cleaner fuel going in. With the Mirai, Brian can just fill up and go as he would with any normal car, not worrying about planning his day around the car’s range. “I'm able to do everything I used to be able to do [with a gasoline car],” he says. “I'm in a car that lets me live my life the exact same way I would before.
