During the yearly NY Fashion Week, I myself often had chances to see him shooting snapshots under severe weather conditions. He seemed more serious, and actually he appeared to be enjoying the work far more than others.
Four years ago, on my first visit to NYFW in February, he kindly talked to me in person "It' s awfully cold today. Are you all right?" He then took several shots of me. That helped me forget my loneliness in freezingly cold NY.
After that too, actually finding him working in the fashion scenes has always been encouraging to me so much. It is so sad that I cannot see him any more.

NYFW、厳しい気象条件の中、誰よりも真剣に、そして楽しそうにスナップを撮っていた姿が忘れられません。
4年前、初めて行った2月のFWで、「寒いね大丈夫？」って声をかけて下さり、私にもカメラを向けてスナップしてくれました。ひとりぼっちのNYの寒さも寂しさも吹き飛びました。
以降、行く度に彼の存在にどれだけ励まされたことか...。
もうお会いできないと思うと悲しくてたまりません。
