Every time I leave the mountains, I always miss the smell of the forest and looking out across the sweeping landscapes, until something like this happens. This morning had nonstop action for about 3 hours straight with a lone bull killer whale chasing a small pod of long beaked common dolphins around, to a pair of humpback whales breaching multiple times. That split second when you see the nose of the humpback emerging from the water is always surreal. I think a good balance between the sea and the mountains is going to work out just fine. #humpback #whale #whalewatching #monterey #california #wildlife #animals #nature
