Introducing... Island Yoga Studio!???????☀️?????❣ _____________________________________________________ Now this is a rendering (a digital drawing) - we are deep in the construction process right now with the new foundation and walls going up this week. But here's a little sneak peek of what's to come! At the end of the year (early December we hope!) we will open what will be the biggest yoga center in the Caribbean with two yoga shalas, a boutique, an organic café serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks(!), a @oneoeight.tv production studio, a wrap-around garden and offices for all of our businesses and non-profits. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!? I get goosebumps just thinking about the finished space. Sacred! Magical! A place to call home.
We are building this space for the whole community and we want it to represent everyone! Our Altar will be a sacred place where anyone can add to it. Our doors are open to ALL. That got me thinking - what if it was designed for the community, by the community?! If you are an artist, designer, carpenter, potter or furniture maker, we would love to feature your creative work! We are looking for tables, desks, chairs, rugs, art, curtains, cushions, wallpaper, light fixtures, dreamcatchers, sofas, neon lights, signage, hammocks, pottery, or any other cool items that align with what we're trying to create. We want to make this special yoga home burst with love and I can't think of a better way than to fill it up with things made by the hands of the community.
