I've been carrying a lot of anger today and maybe you have too... So here is a picture of @ringo_thegringo being weird to brighten up our evening. (I feel a rant coming. If you're not interested feel free to unfollow or go read something else)✌?️ Sometimes I feel hopeless. There is so much that angers me in the world. Every time I glance at my phone there is another pointless shooting, another terrorist attack, another act of war. These things weigh on me. And that part of me that's angry, that wants to fight, to join the debate, to scream of the top off her lungs... Is really tired. Tired of fighting. Tired of having my words picked apart. Tired of being surrounded by people who just. don't. get. it. I post about how much I despise Donald Trump and get hate mail (really - hate mail). I post about the migration crisis and someone commented I should get shot in the head (yup). I talk about black lives matter and get countered with "all lives matter", and "what do you have against cops??". What the hell people! Donald Trump is one of the scariest things to hit America. It's beyond obvious and so disturbing that a man with views so backwards has a real shot at presidency. People that flee from their countries don't do so because they're lazy and they want cushioned lives living off someone else's tax money - they're running for their lives! And they deserve our help no matter what. All lives matter, sure, but is that really the discussion we need to be having?? Is racism against white people a legitimate concern? Are white people walking the streets scared to get shot by police? No. #blacklivesmatter is an actual real-life issue that needs to be heard and dealt with, so stop minimizing it by shifting focus on something else. Fuck! So here are my views, if you're wondering: Screw Trump. People fleeing from their countries deserve support. Black lives matter.
It's 2016. You'd think these ideas wouldn't be so radical that my comment section isn't about to blow up and turn to a shit storm... Let's find out. (oh and if you're about to comment on my dogs balls just please take a hike. They are not a pressing issue and we have better things to talk about)
