Each summer brings the Festival de Cornouaille, in the city of Quimper. It’s more than a folkloric rendition of quaint customs - the traditions are alive and well here, from intricate lace headgear and colorful dresses to the bagpipe, flute and drum-toting marching bands known as a bagads.
