Today's #mondaymotivation: mindfully steering thoughts towards beauty, goodness and thanksgiving especially when inspiration is lacking. I didn't exactly start the day out feeling fantastic. And I knew that whatever I decided to choose in the early hours would set the course for my day. So I stopped everything, got into my quiet space and started reflecting only on the parts of my life that bring me joy. Almost immediately, those dearest to me flooded my thoughts and suddenly it wasn't hard for the stream of other thankful sentiments to follow suit. I purposefully chose the Montegrappa Fortuna Copper Mule (available now at @gouletpens) to journal my fresh musings because I like how copper is an enduring and strong yet soft and malleable material and that's exactly how I want my heart to remain - strong and enduring yet soft and malleable. It's funny how an instrument can connect and resonate on countless cylinders, which is why I am choosy about which ones I allow in my repertoire. They aren't just mere pens; they are the catalyst for new ideas, for materializing the spaces in the heart out on paper, and for connecting with others creatively. Interestingly enough as my thought-life shifted today, the doorbell rang and the beautiful leather deskpad featured above arrived from @lucringeneva. It was the perfect touch of texture and elegance, and the proverbial carpet that tied the room together. A big heartfelt thank you to the kind folks at @lucringeneva for the exquisite gift and for being a part of such a meaningful morning. And on that, I hope that each and everyone of you have a most wonderful day even if it didn't begin that way. Here's to a magnificent week with endless possibilities ahead. ✨ •
