Here's a shout out for @vca Hospitals​ and American Association of Feline Practitioners​ (Catvets) for this amazing collaboration they announced this week to improve the health and welfare of cats! NOT!???
They must have had a bad typo since the word "cats" should have been "furniture." ??
AND this is a "standard of excellence" AAHA (American animal Hospital Association) hospital folks ?

VCA's says their mission is "where your pet's health is our top priority and excellent service is our goal." What about cats????
If VCA and AAFP catvets both really care about the health, welfare, and well-being of cats then they need to stop allowing declawing at their veterinary hospitals and stop putting the welfare of their pocketbooks from membership dues in front of the welfare of all these poor kitties. ?
American animal feline practitioners mission statement says they improve the health and welfare of cats by supporting high standards of practice, continuing education, and scientific investigation. ?

Remember if you want to try to inspire these unethical vets and the "leaders" at VCA and AAFP to do the right thing and stop amputating kitties toes and claws, please always take the high road and be respectful. I know that we all have had enough of this inhumane barbaric torture that is done to millions of cats by doctors in the veterinary profession in North America, but we must not threaten them or call them bad words.
