Drive about 4 hours west of Denver along the Colorado River, and just before you get to Utah, you’ll find yourself in Grand Junction, CO. A city known for it’s vineyards, mountain bike trails, music festivals and the confluence of the Colorado and Gunnison rivers. But its most prominent geological feature is Mt. Garfield and the Books Cliffs. Make sure you spend some sunset time watching the light and clouds dance across this monumental landscape. Shot on assignment for @nature_org by @kengeiger
