This 3D-printed dress was created by fashion designer Danit Peleg. Danit uses laser cutting and 3D technology to create jackets, shoes and more out of a strong and flexible filament called Filaflex. She dreams of the day when we will all download perfectly tailored clothing directly from our home printers. “I felt so empowered and free when I could just design a garment from my home and then print it by myself,” she says. “I wonder what our world will look like when our clothes will be digital.” Watch her #TEDTalk at go.ted.com/3dfashion
