Photo @materas // Fog in the Methow Valley at sunrise, Washington State. The Methow Valley is located on the east slope of the North Cascades along the North Cascades highway. The valley is accessible year round but only from the east in winter as the North Cascades highway closes in winter because of heavy snowfall. In winter the valley is a cross country skiing destination with over 120 miles of groomed Nordic ski, fat biking and snowshoeing trails.
