Refugee and migrant children play at Kara Tepe hospitality centre on the Greek island of Lesvos. The centre is run by the local municipality with the support of UNHCR and other partners. With its organisation and infrastructure, it serves as a model of the kind of support that #Greece – with the right level of support – can offer to the refugee population. Lesvos lies close to Turkey, and was the first stopping point in Greece for thousands of refugees and migrants over the past year.
