Had a good meeting with Vietnam President Trần Đại Quang today, before hosting him and his delegation to lunch.
President Quang is here on a three-day State Visit. He will be delivering the Singapore Lecture tomorrow, the first Vietnamese leader to do so.
Singapore and Vietnam cooperate in many areas – government, business, defence, education and training. Our trade is growing steadily. And Singapore is the 3rd largest foreign investor in Vietnam!
