Video by @bertiegregory : The weather can be as unpredictable as the coastal wolves on Vancouver Island. The west coast of Vancouver Island receives nearly 200 days of rainfall per year. This place is a temperate rainforest, so at some point, it's got to rain! Whilst filming in averse weather conditions isn't my favorite thing, I have a job to do, just like these coastal black bears. They don't let the downpour stop their hunts. In fact, I think the cubs quite enjoy frolicking in the rain! For more scenes from Vancouver Island, watch #wild_life with Bertie Gregory.
