I'll never forget the night that she paddled out into what would become one of the most epic sunsets on our trip thus far. It happened in a remote part of Voyageurs National Park in northern Minnesota. We had just relaxed for an evening paddle when the sky decided it would put on a show. Neither words nor photos could accurately capture what it was like to be there in the pink and purple heaven that unfolded.
