A lone monk whispers silent prayers as he circulates around the world’s largest Ovoo, a traditional Mongolian land marker here in Inner Mongolia, China. When I asked his name, he only would only say call me “lama”, and then, just before sunset, Lama Ertin sped home on his electric scooter.
