There is nothing guaranteed in life except for what is happening right now and how you choose to embrace, defy or consider the way you will process, protect or engage it.
I've always regarded tomorrow as a sort of a reset button. Today you can choose a direction and with some fortitude and a little luck tomorrow you get to embark on a continued journey.
I truly believe the shitty things that happen to us are only momentarily debilitating and what comes out of strain is stronger muscles and a sharper eye.
I have been doing what I love for most of my life and it doesn't come without sacrifice. There isn't a route you can take that won't challenge you so take one but certainly don't just sit there.
Every obstacle is a springboard once you've past it. Those hurdles are fucking bricks that build foundations and philosophies so don't ignore the landing once you've broken through or stood on the other side.
Some of my personal victories are due to in large part surviving hardship and allowing pain, vulnerability and fear to break the surface and disperse.
I hope today is a new start for many of you as it continues to be for me and the people I love, respect and care about.
