This stunning 3D printed #gown, designed by Michael Schmidt, was designed with burlesque #icon @ディタ・フォン・ティース in mind and today is her #birthday — happy birthday Dita!
Schmidt was approached to create a finale ensemble for a symposium on #3D printing and its potential for the #fashion industry. This 3D printed gown, embellished with over 12,000 @SWAROVSKI crystals and loosely inspired by the mathematical formula of the golden ratio (said to quantify idea proportions of #beauty), is the result.
