Known for her vibrant use of colors and playful geometric forms, Mary Blair (1911–1978) was one of the most influential concept artists and art directors @Disney during its golden age of animation. From the early 1940s to the mid-1960s, Blair worked on such iconic films as “Alice in Wonderland,” “Cinderella,” “Peter Pan” and “The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad” (which the piece above is from). She also helped design the characters for “It’s a Small World” @ディズニーランド.
