Des agents de la sécurité ferment la porte sur des Haïtiens qui tentent d’entrer dans une cour où une distribution de nourriture aurait dû avoir lieu, à Maniche, en Haïti, le lundi 17 octobre. Les tensions augmentent avec le retard que prend la livraison d’aide alimentaire. Ici certaines personnes ont marché six heures et doivent maintenant passer la nuit sur place, d’autres ont dépensé leur dernier argent dans les transports en commun pour arriver.

Tensions were rising here when the food delivery still had not arrived. People said they had been told the distribution would be the day before, and some had walked six hours and then had to wait overnight, while others had spent their last money on public transport to arrive.
