Every night people come up to me on this tour and say something like,"When I heard you were doing an acoustic duo tour I thought it was going to be a quiet wooden guitar set". This tour does have its quiet moments and I do explain the origins of nearly every song I play with an emphasis on my songs about social change which I feel are particularly important right now. However our "Soulrocker Duo Tour" is more like a Soulraising/acoustic/electronic/danceparty we get the room shaking with beats in between the quiet moments and get the place rocking like at one of our shows with the full Spearhead band, so be prepared to leave it all on the floor! Many of my older songs like Yell Fire, Bomb The World, and new ones like Looking For A Way To Get Myself To Saturday have deep histories behind them and I like to explain them and the acoustic sound leaves extra space for each word to be heard, but I also play a stomp box (drum) with my foot and we play some tracks behind other tunes so we can also rock hard, because I believe in this crazy time we are living in with so much stress from political and social unrest we need reasons for all people to come together and music for the mind, for the soul and for the body to rock and let go!!!
