Reflecting on @OutofEdenWalk ~ Always a pleasure returning to the @ナショナルジオグラフィック headquarters in Washington, DC, on today's visit to edit video from Uzbekistan with producer Patrick Wellever, the kind fellow shadowed in the parallel lines of a build across from his office at National Geographic on 17th Street NW.

Already on the new Out of Eden website, Patrick has published some of the video I made while walking last month with colleague, #PaulSalopek, through more than 130 kilometers (80 miles) of the Kyzylkum Desert, a journey of vast openness, physically expressive empowered by deep meditation through a sand and scrub brush vista of desolate beauty that is part of the ancient Silk Road.
