Denali is known for big views such as these. One of the things I loved about Denali is that, if you venture off the bus, you will have the landscape practically to yourself. Most folks stay on the bus and see the park through the window, which is fine. But, man, halting the bus anywhere and venturing off in any direction is where the heart of the park lies. There's nothing like walking on arctic tundra on untrodden trails, your senses alive and on the lookout for any of the numerous wildlife that could be around any corner.
